System Requirements for the Flip Video Camcorder
One of the beauties of the Flip Video Ultra is the built-in software - with most cameras, camcorders, printers etc you need to install drivers and software from a disc before you can use it with your PC (less so with a Mac, which will generally just say "Ah, new device - nice to meet you..."), but with the Flip you just plug in and it does the work for you. These are the basic system requirements recommended to use the Flip with your computer;

The Flip is being talked about as the camcorder for the YouTube generation, and the built-in software makes it very simple to upload your clips directly to YouTube, Yahoo Video and MySpace, as well as sending clips as video greeting cards or video emails. The editing is fairly basic in that you can truncate the clips, which means setting new start and end points, but then nobody will expect to make a feature film on one of these so it really is all you need. The in-built software can be updated manually or automatically, and one last cool feature is Still Photo Snap, where you can take a VGA quality still from one of your clips (the Flip doesn't take still photos).
